SteadilySunshine Shoot ~

Inspired by my Denim on Denim blog and a photo shoot long in the planning with Gerald Ives I found myself in my closet trying to find out exactly what it was going to be that I would bring to this shoot. Gerald had a few ideas himself and the rest was just winging it. I knew I wanted our pictures

to have a fall feel to them so colors were important. I ended up finding the perfect long flowing dress in just the right color and the denim was already covered!  These are the perks of working at a clothing store :)
Glade Park, Co
We ended up driving to Glade park  http://www.glade-park.com/ which is an absolutely beautiful location no matter where you go. It's about an hour drive up but so worth it. We found the perfect spot do do all of our photos and got to experience natures best when two elk went running right past us up and over a hill. Everything about this shoot was amazing. One of the best things that I have found while doing freelance modeling is the people you get to meet and the inspiration you gather along the way.

Not every time will be exactly what you want it to be, but when you find the ones with an immediate connection and the vibes just match there is so much magic to be made.
I am very blessed to have worked with Gerald Ives and look forward to working with him again. https://www.instagram.com/steadilyshine_photography/?hl=en
I hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoy October :)

Alessandra Ambrosio.. denim and brown..:       Double denim is a trend that's been around for decades and won't be going away anytime soon. Most people think that wearing too much denim at once is a no no, however if worn correctly it can be really cute. The trick to getting this look right is all in the individual pieces you choose. The best rule of thumb for denim on denim is to make sure the washes and colors are completely different. This means pairing a light washed denim top with a darker blue, black, or grey bottom. You can do it the opposite way but I find darker colors to be more slimming on the bottom verses the top.
Another thing to pay attention to when matching denim is how your clothes are fitting. You want them to fit you almost perfectly, denim tends to look better fitted. Try to avoid pairing tight fitted shirts with baggy jeans or vice versa, it just doesn't look right. The best thing about double denim is when worn right it looks good on both men and woman. I recently bought the cutest long sleeve denim shirt and have been loving how easily it pairs with anything from jeans to shorts to dresses. Denim is just fun, you should add a few pieces in your closet :) Thank you for reading and enjoy the rest of your week ;)                                                        ~ Camberlynn

Zombie Burlesque
Walking the strip for hours on end can sometimes have it's perks, like finding a deal for two that includes tickets to any show of your choice, dinner, $125 in slot vouchers, and a 3 night 2 day stay to use within a year all for just $48.00!! Yes, total score and every penny was worth it. It was obvious when we heard the name Zombie Burlesque what show we were going to. Located inside Planet Hollywood at The V Theater, Zombie Burlesque has some of the most talented dancers in Las Vegas and a live band playing the whole time. The story of Zombie Burlesque takes place in 1958 shortly after the President of the United States strikes a deal with Zombies to have the living and dead coexist. Reluctantly the zombies accepted and opened legendary

"Club Z " for the living to see the "lively" side of zombie culture.             This is not your ordinary musical I promise. At one point the Host of the show is pulling a married couple onto the stage for a pretend Trivia game, asking questions like " wife, what is the name of your husband's member, we all know every guy has one?" His name was John, the response of Lil John was too FUNNY. The characters are all so unique, one of the girls does a ballet scene along with a classier version of pole dancing! It is absolutely amazing the strength these woman have! Winner of Best New Show 2016 and a down right dead sexy comedy musical this show is a must see! Seriously if your in Las Vegas you need to see this show, I have no doubt in my mind you would laugh the whole time. I hope everyone is enjoying October and thank you for reading :)

In less than 24 hours I will be making my way to Las Vegas! I don't know about you but for me I need good music, I can't do the radio. Every time I travel whether it's by plane or car I always have my i pod. I love music too much not to! Aside from the normal Soja, Rebulution, Dirty Heads and other randoms I will be adding a few new ones to the Playlist. Starting with The Chainsmokers. These guys are on fire! Based out of New York, New York their music not only has a good beat but the songs tell great stories too! A few Favorites : Until You Were Gone, Closer, Don't let me down, All we Know, and maybe basically the whole album. Suicide Squad Soundtrack is also dope!! Few favorites making the list : Wreak Havic/Skylar Grey, Sucker For Pain/ Lil Wayne &Wiz Kahlifa and a few others, Heathens/ 21 Pilots, and Gangster/ Kehlani. Las vegas is a 7 1/2 hour drive from where I am so I've also added other random songs I like; This is What you Came For/Calvin Harris, Let Me Love You/D.J Snake&Justin Bieber, some Odesza, Pretty Lights, and a few other 21 Pilot songs. When I become obsessed with a song I tend to play it on repeat so we should be good for the 8 hour drive :) Good thing my boyfriend is the sweetest and this doesn't bother him:) I hope everyone has an awesome weekend! Do something epic and thank you for reading :)

LaS VeGaS...

When I think of Vegas I think of sparkly stuff, drunk people, and a semi tropical get away. Originally going for a wedding but now just a chill vacation, my boyfriend and I will be staying at the Tahiti Village Resort and Spa http://www.tahitivillage.com/ This place looks amazing! We are only going for two days but I want to do as much as I can while i'm there. My plan is to split my time between exploring and relaxing. This got me thinking. Usually when you go to Las Vegas you go to clubs you pack a cute dress, heels, the whole closet. This trip is quite opposite. My approach is to feel comfortable yet sexy, less is more. I mean it's two days right?
<--- Starting with a few Rompers. Not only are they comfortable, lightweight, stylish and easy to slip on, but perfect for 80 degree weather. ------->
Shorts and a shirt are a go to for exploring. The more comfortable you are the better. I am using the same pair of sandals for all 3 outfits so it works out nice. I am notorious for packing too much so i'm trying to keep it chill but really I would rather have options and you never know when you might have to change clothes.

<------ Just in case we decide to do something a little fancy I have brought a simple skirt, top, and black boots. This can work for casual or a night out.  My favorite part and the fact that I only packed 3 is amazing... Bikinis!!!! ----------->
I would live in a bikini year round with no question. I plan to spend a good amount of time by the pool, and bikinis make me happy so why not. I'll only have to bring a small backpack, it's going to be perfect! Hope everyone is enjoying there week, and thank you for reading :)

Here's to the Month of October

It is finally the month of October and I feel like I've been waiting for this since the beginning of August!! Although it is still near the 80s down in the valley I can feel the fall weather coming! I'm not sure how many of you love Halloween but I think it's safe to say it is one of the more popular holidays. Not only do you get to decorate your home for Halloween but for the Fall season in general!
Pumpkins, ghosts, sparkly stuff and scary skeletons not to mention food! You also get to cook and bake for the festivities! Recently on my home front we've been adding Pumpkin Spice to a few things. Muffins, Pancakes, Oatmeal, Squash Casserole, and Gingersnap Cookies that turned out amazing! I'm not one for too much cooking but I love interior design. Anything that gives me an excuse to decorate is alright in my book. The month of October falls into my book :)  Usually I decorate the whole month of that holiday if I do it at all. This year I plan to completely replenish my Halloween/Fall decor and I couldn't be more excited! I love the colors of fall, greens turning to shades of red, yellow, brown, and orange. These colors are so easy to work with and it's fun! It's all about mindset, create the world you love. Surround yourself with things that are inspiring. Fall is a beautiful time of the year, get outside enjoy it while it's here. Have a wonderful Saturday and thanks for reading! :)
