I Haven't Been Everywhere but it's On my List ~Costa Rica Adventure Part 2~

My Costa Rican dog "CoCo"
The Drive alone to Tamarindo is gorgeous, and once you get there it's breathtaking!! We arrived around sunset so the whole town was lit up not only by the sun but by all the beautiful lights hanging from buildings and trees. All of the places and houses have so much character and color to them it's almost like something out of a book. Everyone is happy. The vibe of Tamarindo is a care free relaxed vibe and you cant help but to feel it while you are there. Also If you come to Costa Rica you will notice random stray dogs everywhere. These dogs are so used to people they will follow you around like a pet!!
Now as for where we stayed in Tamarindo we continued to do hostels, they are cheap, and you meet people from all over the world. If you do not feel comfortable sleeping in a room with strangers depending on occupancy at the time I would recommend something different for you. We stayed at Sunset Hostel http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/Sunset-Hostel/Tamarindo/97964 and roomed with a few other people. While we were in Tamarindo we rented surf boards for the day from a local shop and it only cost us $10 dollars!! I found that even though I snowboard surfing is a lot harder then I would have thought. Props to all of you that surf! We also were lucky enough to find a really good package deal on a trip up to Hacienda Rincon De LaVieja ( national Park) for $100 dollars. You can find people selling these packages down town and near the beach you just have to do your research to make sure it's not a scam. The package we got included transportation to and from, a huge lunch buffet, zip lining, horseback riding, white river rafting, rock climbing and an amazing mud bath in natural hot springs!! This is definitely something you want to take advantage of!

How we ended our trip was by heading to Montreverde which I personally think was the most epic part of our trip! The scenery in Costa Rica is great so if you can rent a car and drive yourself ,this will give you more opportunity to stop when and where you want to. Montreverde is set up in levels almost. A village with different levels and amazing shaped buildings. The art and culture of this town are amazing. Truly inspiring. Here in Montreverde we stayed at https://www.expedia.ca/Monteverde-Hotels-Camino-Verde-Bed-Breakfast.h4449816.Hotel-Information This was the cutest most artistically displayed place I had ever been too!! It was amazing! The walls were made of clay with recycled bottles in them and the views were breathtaking. Your so high up in the rain forest that you actually see multiple rainbows a day!! If you love hiking Iwould recommend the Catarata Montreverde Waterfall hike. It's not too straining and is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!! Whom I kidding the whole country is stunning!!!!!

Costa Rica was life changing for me and I feel blessed to be able to explore and travel. What ever your doing I hope this inspired you to get away, see somewhere new, and don't let anything hold you back!

   LOVE YOU COSTA RICA!!
